Margaret Mary Konz (nee Granahan - 94) of Delavan, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital, Walworth, WI on Sunday, January 3, 2021. She was born March 9, 1926 to Hugh Granahan and Rose Granahan, (nee McGovern) of Chicago, Illinois.
She is survived by her loving children, Nicholas George Jr. (Nancy), Kathleen (James) Wallace, Mary Ann Loenneke, Thomas (Peggy) Konz, Laura (Ronald) Teramani, Kelly Espejo, Tony (Steven) Schnur, Christopher (Dana) Konz, and one foster daughter, Teresita Nault, - 16 loving Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years (Nicholas George Konz Sr.), 2 sisters and 1 brother, as well as 3 of her sons, (Joseph Edward, Daniel Matthew and James Michael) and an infant daughter (Peggy).
Maggie (as she was known by many) dedicated most of her life to raising her children. She had a heart as big as the moon, especially when it came to her grandkids, great grands and great-great grands. Often she and Nick Sr. would take in people who needed help. And there was always room for one more at her table.
She worked at a few jobs while raising her children. In later years, she worked in the catering business.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan.
