Mary Ann "Kelly" Jensen

DELAVAN- Mary Ann “Kelly” Jensen, age 83, of Williams Bay, formerly of Delavan, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.

Born on February 5, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward and Georgia (Matiasek) Holman, had married Hubert “Jens” Jensen, May 18, 1962 for 29 years. Kelly brought warmth, dedication, and joy to everyone who knew her. She spent much of her professional life helping others, working as a teacher’s aide at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delavan, VIP Services in Elkhorn, and at the Center for Deaf-Blind Persons, Inc. in Milwaukee. Her commitment to service extended beyond her career—she generously volunteered with Pregnancy Helpline and in many other capacities within the church and community.

Kelly enjoyed her time outdoors walking, gardening, and landscaping. She loved exploring new places through travel, cherishing time with friends, and most of all, visiting and supporting her family. Her kindness, compassion, and strong spirit left a lasting impression on her family, friends, and community.

She is survived by her daughters, Jerri Laidley, Kristin (Mike) Holman-Steffel, Jill Jensen, and Jacqueline (Niko) Jensen Apostal, and beloved nephew, Bryan Propp, grandchildren, Brett, Emily, Kati, Chelsea, Jacob, Eloise, Isabella, and Zoe and siblings, Daniel Holman and Debby (Jim) Astell and several more beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Georgia (Matiasek) Holman, Hubert “Jens” Jensen, and her siblings, James Holman, Margie (Holman) Propp, Christine (Holman) Bieck, Robert Holman, Virjean (Holman) Jaeckel, and Barbara Jean Holman.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kelly’s life at a visitation on Monday, October 13th, 10:00 A.M. at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. Visitors will be invited to a luncheon immediately following the service. A private burial will be at St. John’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Jefferson at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center for Deaf-Blind Persons. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lakeland Health Care Center for the compassionate care they provided.
