DELAVAN – Mary C. “Cathy” Theobald, age 68, of Delavan passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at home in Delavan. She was born on October 11, 1956 in Woodstock, IL to Michael and Mary (Egan) Weberpal. Cathy graduated from DDHS and UW-Whitewater. She was united in marriage to Austin “Mick” Theobald. Cathy was a flight attendant for Ozark, TWA, and American. She was then a teacher at Turtle Creek, Darien, Wileman, and finished in Bangkok, Thailand. Cathy was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mick; a daughter, Kaitlin (Liang) Homolka, of MS; granddaughter, Lucy Cathryn Homolka; sisters, Carol (Jim) Jones, of Janesville, and Linda (Tom) Blackwell, of Delavan; brothers, Michael Jr. (Michelle) Weberpal, of AL, Glenn (Diane) Weberpal, of Antigo, WI, and Tim (Lisa) Weberpal, of Delavan; and many nieces and nephews.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
