DELAVAN – Michael P. Helm, age 51, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. He was born in Elgin, IL on July 2, 1967 to George and Lucile (Boynton) Helm. Michael was an underground cable contractor for over 30 years with Tel-Optic Cable Construction. He moved to Delavan in 2003 and was a member at Harvestpoint Church.
Michael is survived by his two sons, Seth and Preston; his mother, Lucile; four sisters, Taffy (Ed) Armstrong, of Delavan, Debra Ann Stoddard, of Hudson, NH, Mary Lou Cathey, of Delavan, and Jean Marie (Matt) Stobbe, of Denver, CO; three brothers, Richard (Angie) Helm, of La Follette, TN, William Ralph (Donna) Helm, of Luray, VA, and William Randolph, (Chi) Helm, of Dallas, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, George; and a niece, Gloria.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Harvestpoint Church, 209 S. 4th Street in Delavan with Rev. Gary Sisk and Shelli Sisk officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Memorials can be directed to Michael’s family.
