Myrtle Beresh, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at her home in Delavan, WI. She was born in Illinois to her parents, Gustaf and Anna Katherine (Madsen) Persson. Myrtle was united in marriage to Alexander L. Beresh on August 21, 1935. Alexander preceded Myrtle in death in January 1990. She was member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan, WI. Myrtle was a long time waitress at Jess's Restaurant in Delavan, WI. Myrtle is survived by her son, Donald (Sharon) Beresh of Cincinnati, OH, her daughter, Betty (Dr. Robert) Riedner of Waukesha, WI, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her two sisters Mildred (Bill) Luallen of Woodstock, IL, and Esther Wienke of Woodstock, IL, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Lawrence, two brothers, one sister, and in-laws.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:00am on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Chapel at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, WI. Rev. Robert P. Rickman will be officiating.
