DELAVAN – Norman J. Peandro, age 84, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at home in Delavan. He was born in Chicago on April 10, 1938 to Samuel and Harriet (Kwesigroch) Peandro. Norman proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Loretta Larson on April 30, 1967 in Chicago. She passed away on July 8, 1996. Norman worked as an engineer in the food service industry in Chicago for many years. He loved fixing all things and spending time with family and friends.
Norman is survived by his dear life partner, Ramona Johns, of Delavan; a son, Anthony (Nancy) Peandro, of Delavan; two grandchildren, Jacob and Bray; a brother, Kenneth (Rita) Peandro, of Medina, IL; and nieces and nephews.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loretta; a brother, Jerry; sister-in-law, Shirley Bulava; daughter-in-law, Leann; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from NOON until the time of service on Wednesday at the church. Private Family Burial will take place at St. Josephs Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
