LAKE GENEVA – Pamela Webb Jeninga, age 60, of Lake Geneva passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home after a long battle of chronic heart and lung illnesses. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT on January 15, 1961 to Elizabeth “Beth” and James “Jim” Webb. The 2nd child of 5, one sister and three brothers. She grew up in Rose Park, a suburb of Salt Lake City where she made many lifelong friendships.
Pam loved being a “girlie girl.” Pam never gave her parents a hard time. She was always the champion, standing up for her siblings. She loved music and had an amazing music collection. She excelled in dance and especially gymnastics. As kids were outdoors a lot, sledding, skiing, racing her brothers downhill, water skiing with her bikini bottoms falling off. Camping wasn’t really her thing as she hated bugs and getting dirty. What she loved most was boating. She loved being on the water with family and friends.
Pam met John Jeninga while living in San Diego where John was serving in the United States Marin Corps. John followed Pam back to Salt Lake City and they were married on January 7, 1984. They lived in Salt Lake City for a while before moving to the Delavan/Lake Geneva area where they stayed and raised their family.
Pam is survived by her husband, John; three children, Amber (Connan) Carroll, Michael Jeninga, and Tina (Jeff) Anderson; six grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart; her sister Carol (Bob) Weisher; her brothers, James and Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
Pam is preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents, Beth and Jim; her little brother, Kenneth “Kenny”; and her nieces, Tonya and Ashley.
Services will be held at a later date in Utah.
Pamela you will be missed greatly. We will miss your beautiful smile, and humor, your wonderful laugh, your feistiness, and your giant heart.
