Born and raised in Beloit, WI, Patty brought joy, warmth, and kindness to everyone she met. She had the biggest, brightest smile and a heart that welcomed all. Patty was known for her gracious spirit and the way she made everyone feel at home.

Patty is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Joseph Hamill of Delavan; her loving children Emily (Hamill) Sandowski of Lombard, IL, Maggie Hamill of Oregon, WI, and Andrew (Kristina) Hamill of Orlando, FL; and her adored granddaughters Athena Miral, Helena Miral, Evelyn Sandowski, Geneva Gasner, Vienna Gasner, Nora Hamill, and Nellie Hamill. She is also survived by her sisters Lindy (David) Insell of Marietta, GA, Jennifer Seeman of Madison, and her brother Bill Seeman of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents Phyllis & William Seeman.

A proud graduate of UW–Madison, Patty built a long and fulfilling career as a pharmacist. She met the love of her life, Joe, through their shared profession, and together they owned and operated Arnold’s Drug Store in Delavan for many years. Patty was also an active member of her community, including the Junior Women’s Club, and she often volunteered at St. Andrew’s Catholic School.

Patty lived life with joy. She was a talented cook and baker, loved golfing with the ladies league at Delbrook Golf Course, tended gardens, and was an avid reader who was rarely seen without a book in hand. Most of all, she cherished time with her family, especially her seven granddaughters, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

Patty will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the way she made every room brighter simply by being there. Her love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
