Paul G. Uetzmann

BURLINGTON – Paul G. Uetzmann, age 90, of Burlington passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at his home. He was born in Manitowoc, WI on April 5, 1927 to Rev. Theophil and Esther (Schroeder) Uetzmann. Paul was united in marriage to Carol Raduenz in Manitowoc on July 2, 1950. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge for service he attended the University of Wisconsin Madison. Paul was employed by the Aluminum Specialty Company in Manitowoc for 27 years and became Vice President of Sales in the cookware manufacturing division. They moved to the Lake Geneva area in 1978 where Paul served for 14 years as Executive Secretary to the Metal Cookware and Aluminum Foil Associations, retiring in 1992.

Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carol; two daughters, Joan (Joe) LeRoy, and Jean (Dennis) Pordon; five grandchildren, Erin (Justin) Klump, John (Danielle) LeRoy, Lauren (Jared) Sporrer, Andrew (Kelly) Pordon, and Kelly (Jameson) Pelkey; nine great grandchildren, Bennett, Harlow and Bowie Klump, Quinn, Cashton, and Lincoln LeRoy, and Brandon, Garrett, and Ashton Pordon; and two sisters, Judith (Peter) Polster, and Priscilla (Bill) Coxton.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Elizabeth Weinberger; and two brother-in-laws, Clarence Weinberger and Robert Levendusky.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva Street in Delavan with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Sunday at the church.  Memorials can be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
