Peter Bloch Jr., age 82 of Darien, Wi., passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Willowfield Nursing Home in Delavan, Wi. He was born February 21, 1931 in Chicago, Il., the son of Peter Sr. and Stella (Sandecki) Bloch. Peter was united in marriage to Shirley Rockwell in 1961 in Allens Grove, Wi. He was an Installer for A.T.&T. for 31 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, Wi. Peter was an avid Packer fan and loved watching Nascar. He is survived by his wife Shirley of Darien, Wi., his daughter Stella (Gilbert) Perez of Elkhorn, Wi. and his son Walter (Collen Buckley) of Greendale, Wi., 3 grandchildren; Jeannette, Peter (Brittaney), Andrew Gonzalez and their father, Jesus "Eddy" Gonzalez. 1 sister, Marlyn (David) Cain. Also many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister Terese.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Friday July 12, 2013 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, Wi. with Fr. Jim Schuerman officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday evening at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. Burial will be at Mt. Philip Cemetery in Allens Grove, Wi.
