DELAVAN – Rev. Douglas G. Farrell, age 76, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at MercyHealth in Janesville. He was born on May 17, 1946 to Rev. Arthur and Erdamae (Erxlieben) Farrell. Douglas was united in marriage to Norita Keogh on October 30, 2005 at Friendship Baptist Church in Walworth. Douglas was a minister for many years at Millard Baptist Church and Honey Creek Baptist Church. He also was a chaplain for Aurora Lakeland Medical Center and Hospice and was the Director of Missional Outreach for Cargill United Methodist Church.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Norita; two daughters, Kristal (Jacob) Johnson, of Harvard, IL and Leanna (Mark) Kromer, of Henderson, NV; two grandchildren, Nathan and Elizabeth; a brother, Lee (Margarita) Farrell, of South Elgin, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Douglas is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Boyd; and four sisters, Lois, Alice, Nancy, and Debbie.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Community Baptist Church of Honey Creek, 35512 Washington Avenue in Honey Creek.
