DELAVAN – Richard Bowey, age 77, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. He was born on September 13, 1947 in Waukesha to William and Virginia Bowey. He grew up in the Palmyra-Eagle area. Richard retired from Cooper Industry in Waukesha after 30 years.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Paula (Scot) Koepke, of Delavan; grandsons, Bradley (Jenell) Koepke, of Allens Grove, Ross Koepke and Marissa Young, of Walworth; great granddaughters, Khloe, Kenzley, Braelynn, Adalynn, Paislynn, and Evelynn; brothers, James Bowey, of Elkhorn, Ronald (Mary) Bowey, of Dousman, Kenneth (Sue) Schmidt, of Janesville, Dennis (Linda) Bowey, of Elkhorn, and Duane (Rose) Bowey, of East Troy; sisters, Delcene (Robert) Budzien, of Mukwonago, Darlene (Dennis) Bostwick, of Palmyra, Vickie (Elliott) Bakst, of Pewaukee, Deborah (Mike) Zick, of Dousman, Laura (Ray) Thorton, of Waterford, and Mary Kayser, of Fitchburg; in-laws, Ray and Cheryl Alberth, Joyce Isherwood-Smith, and Geraldine Bowey; his dog, Sheila; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra; brothers, Thomas Bowey and William Bowey II; sister-in-law, Karen Bowey; brother-in-law, Randy Kayser; and three nephews, Christopher Budzien, Charles Bowey, and Tyler Thorton.
