DELAVAN – Robert E. Nalevac, age 94, of Delavan passed from this life into the next on October 5, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Neillsville, WI to Rudy and Bessie (Brichta) Nalevac. Robert proudly served during WWII as a Grade IV Army Tech Sargeant. After his service to our country, he was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945. Robert was united in marriage to Shirley Frech on November 29, 1952 and worked as a Union Electrician (Local 890) for 40 years until retirement. Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley; their sons, Jim (Deb) Nalevac and Tom Nalevac; his sister, Phyllis (Ted) Nowak; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Frank, Lester, and George; a sister, Mildred; and a granddaughter, Katrina Ashley.
No services are planned per Robert’s wishes. His last gift to his family was showing them how to face death with dignity and honor. 
He will be forever in our hearts.
