Robert J. Britt, age 94 of Delavan, Wi., joined his beloved wife Marion in eternal peace on Monday January 28, 2013. Bob was born January 17, 1919 in Delavan, Wi., the son of Rallo and Blanche (Wheelock) Britt. Bob was united in marriage to Marion Henry on April 5, 1942 in Fort Atkinson Wi. She preceded him in death on August 31, 2010. He was a machinist at the Borg's Corporation in Delavan for many years, then with several others, became a founder, owner and operator of Swiss-Tech in Delavan. Along with his wife Marion, he was a long time member of Christ Episcopal Church in Delavan. Bob was a Veteran, serving with the U.S. Army Air Force. He is survived by 2 daughters; Rebecca (Dennis) Lahey of Ca. and Deborah (Edward) Conrad of Racine Wi. His son, Mark Britt of Lake Geneva Wi. 2 grandchildren; Brandon and Shannon. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Dear special friend, Helen Talis of Delavan. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife , Marion. 1 brother, Walter and his sister-in-law Gwen.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday February 1, 2013 at the Christ Episcopal Church in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. John Splinter officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, Wi. with full military honors provided by Delavan Legion Post 95.
