Robert M. Garecht, age 80 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Saturday December 22, 2012 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn, Wi. He was born August 14, 1932 in Taylor North Dakota, the son of Jack and Rose (Fix) Garecht. Bob was united in marriage to Elaine Wandler in Dickinson North Dakota on July 5, 1954. He was employed at General Motors in Janesville for 34 years until his retirement in 1999. Along with his wife Elaine, Bob attended St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, Wi. He is survived by his wife Elaine of Delavan, Wi. His daughter, Carla (Richard) Ludowise of Elkhorn, Wi. His 3 sons; Kenneth (Kim) Garecht of Janesville, Wi., Kevin Garecht of Vista, Ca., and Keith (Kelli) Garecht of Elkhorn, Wi. 5 grandchildren; Brad, Mike, Cami, Riley (Tabraea) Oman, Krissy (Brad) Shroeder. 7 great-grandchildren also survive. 2 sisters; Issy Kostenko and Eleanor Phillips. 1 brother, Al (Billie) Garecht. 1 sister-in-law, Vernette Garecht. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers; Hank Garecht, Leo Garecht, Joe Garecht and Phil Garecht. 1 niece, Casy Garecht. 2 brothers-in-law; Art Kostenko and Jack Phillips. 2 sisters in-law; Joyce Garecht and Hilda Garecht. 2 half brothers; Barney Garecht and George Garecht. 1 half sister, Barbara Carmen.
