DELAVAN – Roger L. Hooverson, age 73, of Delavan passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. He was born on March 26, 1953 in Beloit to Marvin and Goldie (Hadley) Hooverson. Roger was united in marriage to Debra Potter on April 28, 1973 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan. He worked for 35 years at Barker Lumber in Delavan. Roger enjoyed fixing pneumatic tools, birdwatching, and spending time with his family.
Roger is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Brenda Lee (Brandon) Smith, of Elkhorn, Kelly Rae (Paul) Berg, of Elkhorn, and Joseph Roger (Amber) Hooverson, of Delavan; five grandchildren, Zebidiah, Aalyiah, Adeline, Braden, and Kinsleigh; and a brother, Robert Hooverson, of Arkansas.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sarah Jo; two brothers, Larry and Gary Hooverson; and a sister, Nancy Schultz/
Public Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M – 11:30 A.M. on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan.
