DELAVAN – Rose Ann “Me-mo” (Pils) Mohr, age 89, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center in Summit. She was born in Chicago on September 29, 1934 to Peter and Catherine (Gaffney) Shields. Rose was united in marriage to Frank Pils on August 31, 1957. Frank passed away in 1989. Rose married William Mohr in November 1994 and he passed away in 2009. Rose worked as a RN at Lakeland Nursing Home and also worked for Dr. Smiley and Dr. Miller. She belonged to the Delavan Service League and was an active member at St. Andrews Catholic Church and Walworth County ARC.
Rose is survived by her two daughters, Catherine (Ron) Brusky, of Trevor, WI, and Laura (Mark) Bambenek, of Trempeleau, WI; three sons, Joseph (Sue) Pils, of Libertyville, IL, Dan (Jessica) Pils, of Williams Bay, and Steve Pils, of Delavan; nine grandchildren, Lauren (Rob), Larisa, Jacob (Andrea), Griffin (Koré), Riley (Karly Artino), Simon, Gracie, Shelby, and Hunter; and four great grandchildren, Robert, Hendrix, Luka, and Crosby.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Frank Pils and William Mohr; three brothers, George, Peter, and William; and a sister, Mary Thomas.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery. Memorials can be directed to Walworth County ARC, P.O.
