DARIEN – Rosemary “Rosie” F. Weber, age 93, of Darien passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center in Summit. She was born in Elkhorn on August 17, 1930 to James Sr. and Johanna (Jansen) Potter. Rosemary worked for 32 years at Sta-Rite in Delavan. She was united in marriage to Russell Weber in 1949. He passed away on September 15, 1986. Rosemary was an avid award-winning bowler, champion snowmobile racer, and seamstress. She also enjoyed crafting.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Sharon (Wayne) Douglas, of Avalon, WI, Sandy (George) Arnold, of McHenry, IL, Mike (Denise) Weber, of Manitowoc, WI, Ronnie (Linda) Weber, of Dousman, WI, and Chris (Pete) Dunbar, of Beloit, WI; 15 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and a sister, JoAnn Rangel, of Elkhorn.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell; two brothers; and granddaughter, Beckie.
Public Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. The family wishes to give special thanks to nurses Molly and Jen, Pastor Steve, and special neighbor, Sally.
