DELAVAN –Ruby Linda Gonzales (Garcia), 55, Delavan, WI, died on February 6, 2025.
Ruby was born in Elkhorn, WI to Jesus Garcia and Guadalupe Sanchez, the oldest of four children. Ruby grew up in Walworth County, WI, and spent her childhood playing barbies and riding bikes with her cousins. Into her youth, she spent her time playing darts and dancing at countless family gatherings. In adulthood, Ruby built a family with Dionicio "Mitch" Gonzales Jr., and had one son, Dionicio Gonzales III. Ruby loved her family above all else, especially her beautiful granddaughters, Sophia and Scarlett.
Ruby was often in pain due to fibromyalgia, so enjoyed spending time collecting photos of loved ones, watching horror movies, and drinking coffee. However, Ruby's favorite hobby was spoiling her grand babies with gifts, nearly every day.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Garcia and Guadalupe Sanchez. Ruby is survived by her husband Dionicio "Mitch" Gonzales Jr., her son Dionicio (Erin) Gonzales III, her granddaughters Sophia and Scarlett, her brothers Victor (Alma) Garcia, Martin Garcia, and Jesse Ochoa, and niece Jadrian (Cody) Cardenas.
Ruby had many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends by whom she will be dearly missed.
