DELAVAN - Scott R. Nelson, of Glendale, WI formerly of Delavan, passed away at the Silver Springs Health Care Center on January 11, 2024. Scott was born April 28, 1955 in Elkhorn, WI, to Ervin and Joy (Jensen) Nelson.
Scott is survived by his mother, Joy L. Nelson, his brother Richard K. Nelson of Pagosa Springs, CO, two nephews Nicholas E. (Paula) Nelson, Nathan R. (Sarah) Nelson, a great niece Paula M. Nelson and great nephew Nicholas R. Nelson all of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Scott was a very intelligent man with many interests, computer science, photography, mechanics, history, space sciences to name a few. He enjoyed helping his mother and made her beautiful flower gardens at her home in Delavan. Scott had a heart of gold and loved helping others throughout his life.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Scott Nelson’s name to your favorite charity.
