DELAVAN – Shireley Prokop, age 93, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan. She was born in Chicago on June 9, 1924 to Otto and Betty (Gundersen) Riis. Shireley was united in marriage to William Prokop on March 16, 1945 in Asbury Park, NJ. William passed away on March 1, 2004. Shireley was a legal secretary for many years working at Kenny Law Office and then Clair Law Office in Delavan.
Shireley is survived by two daughters, Judy Masura, of Glenoma, WA, and Bonnie (Dave) Wagner, of Delavan; four grandchildren, Jim Masura Jr., Julie Masura, and Jerry Masura, and Theresa McFarland; and three great grandchildren, Katelyn Masura, Joey McFarland, and Brady McFarland.
Shireley is preceded in death by her husband, William; a son, William Jr.; and her parents.
A private service for family will be held at a later date.
