Sophie Tesch, age 94 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn, WI. She was born October 14, 1919, the daughter of Miles and Mabel (Warden) Harth. Sophie was united in marriage to Marvin Tesch on August 31, 1940 in Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1971. She was homemaker and was employed at Moe Brothers Industries in Fort Atkinson for many years. Sophie loved music, especially Elvis, and dancing, playing bingo, cooking, crafts, sewing, playing cards, and her church.
She is survived by her son, Ron (Joyce) Tesch of Delavan, her two granddaughters LaVonne (Jack) Hogan, and Shari Ellis of Delavan, WI, one great-granddaughter Danielle Hogan, one sister Luella Hagen of Green Lake, WI, one brother, Ralph Harth of West Bend, WI, and many nieces and nephews. Sophie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marvin, and eleven brothers and sister.
