Vernon L. Kilroy, age 78 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Saturday February 16, 2013 at St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wi. He was born May 24, 1934 in Rock Falls, Il., the son of Joseph and Ina (Harrington) Kilroy. Vernon was united in marriage to Jacqueline Weber in Elkhorn, Wi. on April 3, 1980. He was employed as a Leadman at Woodstock Dye Cast in Woodstock Il. then at Farm City Elevator in Darien, Wi. before retiring. Vernon was a W.W.II U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 82 Air Borne. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline of Delavan, Wi. His daughters, Shelly (Brian) Guzman of Delavan, Wi. and Jackie Conners of Gay Mills, Wi. His son, Terry (Della) Kilroy of Wi. 6 grandchildren. His sister, Margarite Jung and his 2 brothers, Marlyn (Shirley) Kilroy and Henry (Donna) Kilroy. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Thursday February 21, 2013 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, Wi. with Rev. Mike Ida officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, Wi.
