DELAVAN – Wayne J. Iverson, 73, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at home in Delavan. He was born in Elkhorn on May 10, 1949 to Warren and Jessie (Den Hartog) Iverson. Wayne was united in marriage to Sherry Karstetter on June 1, 1967 at Darien Methodist Church. Wayne proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He worked at Sta-Rite/Pentair for 42 years, retiring as Director of North American Logistics. Wayne was an active member of Calvary Community Church. He enjoyed golfing at Delbrook, ice fishing with family, and Wisconsin sports.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Sherry; daughter, Laurie (Mark) Brouwer, of Delavan; son, Bryan (Jennifer) Iverson, of Delavan; four grandchildren, Ashley and Noal (Kaeli Matula) Brouwer and Taylor and Madison Iverson; sister, Joanne (Steve) Lockwood, of Delavan; and many nieces and nephews.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Calvary Community Church, N2620 Harris Road in Lake Geneva. The funeral service is being live-streamed at Home - Calvary Community Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Delavan Christian School or Calvary Community Church Building Fund.
