Whitewater/Delavan – Our beloved Timothy Leon Wobig made his way from home to heaven on April 20, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Leon and Amelia Wobig on June 19, 1961. Tim graduated from Delavan Darien High School and went on to spend 6 years as a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps. Tim was trained as a computer programmer and worked at the Kansas City Medical Center and the past 6 years at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Computers and his family were the loves of his life. Tim loved and married Lori and was bless with 4 daughters, Angel, Danielle, Misti, and Mili. He had an older sister Paula and her partner Terri and their son, Chase. Brother, Robin and his wife, Sandi and their children, Nicki, Mathew, Danny, and Michael. Brother, Bryan. Younger brother, David and his wife Lynette and their children, Damien, Brandon, and Brooke. Tim was surrounded by his family for the last 2 months. Throughout his battle, he maintained his innate sense of caring and looking out for others. He will be greatly missed by all and always remembered. Thank you to Heartland Hospice who provided compassionate and heartfelt care during Tim’s last weeks.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Darien Cemetery with full military honors.
