DELAVAN/WILLIAMS BAY – Harley L. Seuser, age 89, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn. He was born on November 25, 1926 in Albert Lea, MN to Harley and Maxine (Wiele) Seuser. Harley was married to Charlotte Carlson in 1946 and they had four children together. He married Dorothy Korstad on September 19, 1972 in Williams Bay. Harley worked for many years at Sentry Foods in Twin Lakes. He was an outdoorsman, NRA member, and avid movie watcher.
Harley is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (David) Loft, of Delavan, and Mary (Joseph) Dempsey, of FL; two sons, Jon (Janice) Seuser, of Elkhorn, and Jeffrey Scott (Sue) Seuser, of Delavan; two step-daughters, Diane (Leo) Wojcik, of Delavan, and Lynda Fischer, of McFarland, WI; three step-sons, David (Joan) Doolittle, of Lewisville, NC, Michael (Dreama) Doolittle, of Coatsville, IN, and Steven (Lisa) Doolittle, of Bloomington, MN; a sister, Shirley (Don) Hayes, of FL; five grandchildren, Chris, Dan, Zack, Jamison, and Ian; 14 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Vivian Seuser; and many great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Harley is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; his parents; a brother, Don Seuser; and a step-son, Edward Doolittle.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Hazel Ridge Cemetery in Elkhorn.
