Dale R. Austin, age 52 of North Freedom, Wi., formerly of Fontana, Wi., passed away Thursday February 14, 2013 at his home in North Freedom, Wi. He was born in Elkhorn, Wi. on February 24, 1960, the son of William Sr. and Mary (Goff) Austin. Dale was united in marriage to Rose Davenport in 1981 in Fontana, Wi. Dale started his working career at Charlie O's restaurant in Williams Bay, Wi., then as a Police Officer in Lake Geneva, Wi. In later years, along with his brother Rich, he owned and operated "The Boys" lawn care and snow removal. He was the past Fire Chief in Fontana, Wi. He is survived by his wife Rose of North Freedom, Wi. His daughter, Rosannah (Jacob) Todd of North Freedom, Wi. 1 brother, William Jr. "Rich" (Linda) Austin of Fontana, Wi. 2 nieces, Mandi Austin and Sharon Carr. 1 nephew, Doug Carr. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Wednesday February 20, 2013 at the Community Church of Elkhorn with Rev Robert Peiffer officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at 11:00am at the church on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, Wi.
