Mary Jedlicka

Mary Jedlicka, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 4, 2025 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan.  She was born in South Heart, North Dakota on June 7, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Paul) Huschka and united in marriage to Joseph Jedlicka on January 21, 1957, in South Heart, North Dakota.

After moving the family to Delavan in 1965, she worked for many years at Borg Instruments.  Prior to retirement she worked several years sewing at the FOF Factory in Delavan.  In her free time she enjoyed baking kolaches, making homemade noodles and sewing outfits for her children.  She also took pride in her garden and canning her own fresh vegetables.  Joe and Mary were often found dancing at the Moose Club in Harvard on Saturday nights. They enjoyed camping and loved traveling to Cocoa Beach, Florida in the winter where they spent several weeks being at the ocean, spending time with family and friends.  Mary and Joe were faithful members of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan, had countless friends and a loving family throughout their 63 year marriage.

Mary is survived by her three children:  Gary (Kim) Jedlicka of Delavan, Cheryl (Wayne) Frohmader of Fort Myers, Florida, and Darla (Kevin) Washburn of Mukwonago; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Roberta Huschka, Delavan.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, her parents, four sisters, and four brothers.
