DELAVAN – Charles “Chuck” G. Corson, age 93, of Delavan passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. He was born January 5, 1932 in Anderson, IN to Charles and Millie (Herren) Corson. At age 3, he moved to Dayton, OH and at age 11 to Green Bay, WI. Chuck graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1950 and from UW-Madison School of Pharmacy in 1955. He worked 39 years in Elkhorn as a registered pharmacist retiring from Parkview Pharmacy in 1994. Chuck was in the Army Reserves for 9 years with active duty in Texas. He was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elkhorn. Chuck enjoyed traveling for many years in retirement and was a loyal Packers fan for many years. Chuck married Donna Christenson on August 15, 1958 at Brick Church parsonage in Walworth. They lived in Elkhorn until 2005 when they moved to Westshire Retirement Community near Delavan.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna; sons, Bill, of Elkhorn, Jon (wife, Christeen deceased), of AL; daughters, Beth (Randy) Smith, of Delavan, Patti (Larry) Stech, of IL; grandchildren, Andrew Smith, of Elkhorn, Amanda (Matt) Carek, of Elkhorn, Ben Stech, of IL, Lydia (Roni) Garayanala, of AL, and Tyler Corson, of AL; great grandchildren, Christian, Alayna, and Emma Carek, of Elkhorn.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy (Roland) Johnson.
Public Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Private Family Services will be held. Entombment will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
