ELKHORN - Albert L. Hendricks, age 75, of Elkhorn passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 peacefully at home. Bert was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 12, 1948 to Virgil and Marian (Graves) Hendricks. He grew up in a loving family with one brother and four sisters. He attended the University of Illinois where he earned a PhD. in Electrical Engineering. Bert moved to Houston, Texas after college graduation to pursue his career in engineering and computer programming. He met and married Lynn Marie Eubanks while living in Houston. They enjoyed 39 years of marriage before Lynn passed away in 2017. Bert moved to Wisconsin to be nearer to family in 2020. His sisters in the area greatly enjoyed the fun times spent together. Bert was generous and kind. He had a strong faith in Jesus and loved to discuss Bible passages.
Bert is survived by his four sisters, Marilyn Hendricks, of Harvard, IL, Elaine (Joseph) Murphy, of Fitchburg, WI, Jeanne (Donald) Wernly, of North Potomac, MD, and Kathleen (Bill) Lincoln, of Delavan, WI; and many nieces and nephews that were dear to him. Bert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lynn; his brother, Gregory Hendricks, and sister-in-law Nancy Hendricks.
No Services have been planned at this time. A small, family service will be planned in the Spring. Bert will be buried in Galena, IL at St. Michael's Cemetery alongside his wife and parents.
