DELAVAN – Allen W. Hoefert, age 76, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Mercy Walworth Hospital. He was born in Manitowoc, WI on January 7, 1947 to Arthur and Muriel (Tauschek) Hoefert. Allen graduated from Kenosha High School in 1965. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1970 and was part of the Naval Mobile Construction Sea Bees Battalion 3. Allen was united in marriage to Mary Miller in August 2001. Allen worked for over 20 years with the Delavan Sanitary District. He was a member of the Mustangs Car Club and enjoyed participating and taking home trophies in many car shows.
Allen is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Keith (Karl) Hoefert, Rosemary Maier; siblings, Dean Hoefert, Ronda Hoefert, and Sandra (Bill) Seitzinger.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Curt (Kristin) Hoefert.
