DARIEN – Gregorio Ramirez, age 73, of Darien passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn. He was born in Mexico on May 9, 1950. Greg was united in marriage to Amalia Ramirez in Mexico. Amalia passed away on April 26, 2008. Greg worked for many years at USG in Walworth.
Greg is survived by his children, Delfina (Joe) Leahy, of Elkhorn, and Greg Ramirez, of Lake Geneva; three grandchildren, Joseph, Sean, and Luke Leahy; many brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Amalia; grandson, Jack; and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
