Amelia M. Wobig, age 80 of Darien, Wi., passed away Tuesday December 13, 2011 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn, Wi.She was born August 27, 1931 in Darien Wi., the daughter of Paul and Harriet Wenzel. Amelia married Leon Wobig November 7, 1956 in Darien and he preceded her in death on January 22, 1990. She was a graduate of Darien High School. She was a home maker and was employed at Oaks Manufacturing in Elkhorn, Wi. for many years until her retirement. Amelia was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan. She loved watching and was an avid fan of the Packers and the Cubs.
She is survived by her daughter Paula, her partner, Terri of Rockford. Her sons; Robbin (Sandra) of Delavan, Bryan of Clinton and David (Lynette) of Delavan. 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon, 1 son Timothy, and 2 brothers.
Funeral Services will be 12:00pm Saturday December 17, 2011 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating.
