Anita P. Scott, age 86, of Delavan Wi., passed away Sunday May 15, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville Wi.She was born October 17, 1924 in Richmond Township, the daughter of Edwin and Pearl (Scharine) Pinnow. Anita married Cecil Scott at Our Redeemer Lutheral Church in Delavan February 14, 1947. Cecil preceded her in death in 1991 after 44 years of marriage. Along with her husband, they farmed in this area for many years and she was a devoted home maker. She enjoyed raising chickens and selling the eggs in Delavan where she became affectionately known as the 'Egg Lady' Anita was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan where she was a very active member of the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed family gatherings and working outdoors, from farming and gardening to mowing the lawn. She also was a poll worker for the village of Darien for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Cary of Delavan and Gregory of Delavan. A brother, Laurel (Margaret) Pinnow of Delavan and a sister, Delores Grams of Delavan. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Thursday May 19, 2011 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to service time at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Ladies Aide.
