Arthur A. Dibble, age 66 of Delavan, Wi., passed away Saturday January 21, 2012 at Mercy-Walworth Medical Center in Lake Geneva Wi. He was born May 3, 1945 in Waukesha Wi., the son of Benjamin and Doris (Austin) Dibble. Art was a 1963 Graduate of Delavan-Darien High School. He married Jean Uglow on June 13, 1970 in Watertown Wi. Art was a Holstein Dairy Farmer for many years. Also, he was employed at Lakelawn Lodge in Delavan as the Stable Manager and as a Banquet Manager. For the past 15 years he worked for Blain's Farm and Fleet in Janesville in the Human Resources Department as a Recruiting Specialist. He was Past Treasurer for the Walworth County Republican Party. Past President of the Walworth County Holstein Association. He was also a 4-H Dairy Leader for 15 years with an emphasis on cattle judging. He spent many hours entertaining groups as Toastmaster.
He is survived by his wfe Jean of Delavan. His sons; Scott (Tracy) Dibble of Janesville and Ted Dibble of Wisconsin Dells. His brother, Allen (Kathy) Dibble and his sister, Ruth (Willis) Blakley. His grandchildren, Jacob and Molly and many nieces and nephews. Also his aunt, Carol Austin of Janesville.
Memorial Services will be 11:00am Tuesday January 24, 2012 at the United Church Of Christ-Congregational in Delavan with Rev. Laura McLeod officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to service time on Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Delavan Arboretum. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan Wi. is assisting the family.
