Geraldine A. Gilbeck, age 69 of Delavan, Wi., passed away with her family by her side, Sunday January 15, 2012 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wi. She was born August 23, 1942 in Sparta Wi., the daughter of Hubert and Loretta (Baus) Schmitz. Geri married Robert Gilbeck in 1965. Most of her working career, she was employed as a Inventory Auditor for the Target Corporation. She was also a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Fontana, Wi.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert. Her daughters; Sarah (Glenn) Necklen of Mn. and Paula (Jason) Westphal of Wi. 5 grandchildren; Gabrielle, Ella and Grace Westphal, Will and Tessa Necklen. 3 sisters; Helen (Glen) Muehlenkamp, Joyce Dunnum and Caroline (Donald) Wavra. 4 brothers; Gallis 'Butch' (Betty) Schmitz, Eugene 'Mike' (Darlene) Schmitz, Cletus 'Pete' (Mary) Schmitz and Jim (Melissa) Schmitz. She was preceded in death by her parents.
