Delphine I. Tully, age 93 of Delavan, Wi. passed away Friday January 13, 2012 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wi. She was born September 3, 1918 in Canada, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Lindner) Hanten. Delphine married Byron Tully in May of 1944 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan and he preceded her in death April 15, 1996. Her working career started by being the secretary to the president of Kroch and Brentano in Chicago. Then was employed as Delavan Township assessor for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan where she was past president of the Alter Society. She was also a member of the Womens Auxiliary, Friends of Aram Library and multiple bridge clubs.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Bob) Carlson of Delavan. Her sons; Michael (Mary Ann) of Downers Grove Il., Timothy (JoAnne) of Delavan and Andrew (Greta) of Waukesha. 10 grandchildren; Andrew Tully, Daniel Tully, Chris (Erin)Tully, Molly (Matt) Polyock, Amy (Brian) Eriksson, Kathleen, Kevin, Patrick Tully, Brad and Ben Carlson. 2 great-grandchildren; Claire and Sam Polyock. Daughter-in-law, Anita Barry-Tully. Also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Byron. 1 sister, Estelle and 2 brothers, Leon and Wilford.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Tuesday January 17, 2012 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan. Visitation will be Monday January 16, 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St' Andrew's School.
