Waukesha/ Aurora De La Fuente, age 64 of Waukesha formerly of Darien, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 at her home. She was born February 26, 1946 in Brownsville, TX, the daughter of Jose and Monse (Torres) De La Fuente. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan.
She is survived by her very dear friend of 29 years, Ernesto Garcia of Milwaukee; 3 daughters, Maria Acevedo of Milwaukee, Teresa (Johnny) Landeros of TX and Cecilia (Juvenco) Torres of Waukesha; 2 sons, Rafael (Laura) Acevedo of TX and Rolando (La Donna) Acevedo of IN; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Maria (Rodolpho) Beltran of TX; 1 brother, Benito (Patricia) De La Fuente of Sharon, WI; also many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
Funeral Services will be Monday, June 14, 2010 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan with Fr. Jim Schuerman officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Burial will be at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
