Delavan/ Julia B. Janis, age 98 of Delavan passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva. She was born September 14, 1911 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Jacob and Helen (Janik) Ciupinski. She married Bernard Janis in October of 1929 in Chicago and he preceded her in death in 1964. She was employed at International Paper in Chicago.
She is survived by her 1 daughter, Judy Verticchio of PA.; 2 sons, Brian Janis, Thomas (Beverly) Janis; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard and her son Gilbert.
