DELAVAN – Barbara A. Tillich, age 92, of Delavan passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan. She was born on January 17, 1934 in Chicago to Christian and Eleanor (Janssens) Hendricks. Barbara worked at Roosevelt High School for many years where she was a 2nd Mom to many of the students. Barbara also worked as a billing clerk with Provident Life Insurance. She was a longtime member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. Barbara enjoyed reading, puzzles, and loved and cared for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her children, Catherine (Donald) Palma, of Delavan, Ramona Magers, of Hanover Park, IL, and John (Domenica) Tillich, of Hartford, WI; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Suzanne (Richard) Augustyn, of North Brook, IL; sister-in-law, Donna Hendricks, of SC; and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael; and two brothers, Donald and Edward (Lucille).
Funeral Services will take place at 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the funeral on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan.
