WALWORTH – Barbara E. Stiner, age 70, of Walworth passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Janesville. She was born in Elgin, IL on June 15, 1946 to Raymond and Johanna (Doerr) Schultz. Barbara was united in marriage to Duane Stiner in Cary, IL on May 20, 1967. She worked as a dental assistant for Frank Psota of Arlington Heights, IL and was a teacher’s aide at Phoenix and Park Grade Schools. Barbara also had administrative jobs at Crest Chevrolet, Stuart Tank in Elkhorn, Citizens Bank and Borg-Indak in Delavan, and Onvoy in Walworth for 17 years before retirement. She was a longtime member of Delavan United Methodist Church and the Harvard, IL Moose Lodge.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 49 years, Duane; siblings, Raymond Ritt, of San Diego, CA, Kimberly (Robert) Martin, of Crystal Lake, IL, and James (Mai) Ritt Jr. of McHenry, IL; her beloved cat, Ralph; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Scott.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
