DELAVAN – Grace Nichols, age 80, of Delavan passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Willowfield Nursing and Rehab Center in Delavan. She was born in Illinois on October 13, 1935 to Albert and Rena (VanHuis) Ipema. Grace was a longtime member of Delavan Christian Reformed Church.
Grace is survived by her two children, Gale (Samantha Hagler) Galvan, of Delavan, and Greg (Heather) Nichols, of Delavan; five grandchildren, Tori Nichols, Broden Nichols, Anthony Ferrari, Cody Ferrari, Ian (Felisha) Honeyager, Alicia (Jason) Meeks, and Alexander (Ellie) Nichols; great grandchildren, Kadyn, Brooklyn, Xander, Ellery, Mikka, and Ronan; siblings, Nettie Ipema, Hank Ipema, Jane Clark, and Hilda Gronberg; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Grace is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Anna, John, Corrine, and Lucy; and nephew, John Keizer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Delavan Christian Reformed Church, 850 Oak Street in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva. Memorials can be directed to the Delavan Christian School.
