LAKE GENEVA/DELAVAN – Barbara Schulz Knack Nee Groth, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She was born in Maywood, IL on June 30, 1947 to Ollie and Francis (Frantz) Groth. Barbara was a longtime member at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #15051.
Dear mother of Kristi (Kenneth) Remer, Shannon (Richard) Blay, Kathi (Ben) Bolton, and Steven Knack; stepmother to Kari (Al) Schmuck and Kelly Harrington; fond sister of Sue Jacoby, Jim (Nancy) Schulz, JoAnne Wilson, Penny (Robert) Latham; and loving grandmother to eight grandchildren. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; sister Judy Hoefert; and brother-in-laws, Dean Jacoby and Tom Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at East Delavan Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with School.
