DELAVAN – Judith Caroline O’Connor, age 70, longtime resident of Delavan passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 19, 1945. Judy was united in marriage to James O’Connor on June 18, 1993 at St. Andrew’s. She was a member at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Judy also was a member of St. Vincent De Paul and volunteered teaching children, which was her passion. Judy is survived by her husband, Jim; two daughters, Gwen Carlson and Margaret (Larry) Sperlader, both of WI; two stepchildren, Matt and Chris; two brothers, Fr. John Kret, of IL, and Don (Theda) Kret, of AZ; and two grandchildren. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, 137 Dewey Avenue in Fontana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Burial will take place at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Sauk City.
