Bessie L. Schell, age 82 of Darien, WI, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at her home in Darien, WI. She was born March 21, 1931. The daughter of George and Estell (Barker) Greene. Bessie was united in marriage on September 1, 1951 to Edward Schell in Elkhorn, WI. Edward passed away on March 8, 2008. She was a member of the American Auxillary and St. Andrews Catholic Church. Bessie is survived by her four daughters; Julie (James) Brovold of Darien, WI, Laurie (Joe) Nickels of Darien, WI, LeAnne Marino of AZ, Patti Jo (Dave) Saam of Delavan, WI, her three sons; Kenneth (Marna) Schell of Delavan, WI, Dan (Beverly) Schell of Darien, WI, and Eddie (Jennifer) Schell of Clinton, WI, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, her grandson, Adam, four sisters, and two brothers.
Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the church. Burial will follow services at the Darien Cemetery. Monroe Funeral Home is assisting the family.
