DELAVAN – Betty Bakko, age 88, of Delavan passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan. She was born on March 15, 1936 in Medford, WI to Charles and Marie DeVoy. Betty was united in marriage to Bernie Bakko on April 12, 1952. Bernie passed away on March 12, 1997. Betty was a waitress at Eat’n Time in Delavan for many years.
Betty is survived by her three children, Pamela (Bob) Perry, of East Troy, Michael (Kathleen) Bakko, of Griffith, IN, and Suzanne (Russ Anclam) Marchiafava, of Darien; four grandchildren, Scott Perry, of Madison, Ross (Jacque) Perry, of Waukesha, Stephen (Julia) Bakko, of Valparaiso, IN, and Amanda (Zack Combs) Bakko, of Hampton, VA; four great grandchildren, Lily Perry, Charlotte Perry, Chase Bakko, and Wyatt Bakko; and a sister, Pat Brown, of Delavan.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernie; and a sister, Nancy.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva Street in Delavan with Rev. Jonah Burakowski officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Delavan.
