Betty Casagranda, age 75 of Elkhorn Wi., formerly of Delavan Wi., passed away Tuesday August 9, 2011 at her home. She was born January 20, 1936 in Chicago Il., the daughter of Martin and Elsie (Raasch) Crow. Betty married Edward Casagranda in Chicago on November 5, 1955. He prededed her in death January 6, 2004. Betty was employed in the area during her working career at Ben Franklin of Delavan, The Shopper in Delavan and Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn. She was a member of Millard Community Covenant Church in Elkhorn. Betty was also an active volunteer at the Webster House Museum in Elkhorn.
She is survived by her daughters; Sue (Dave) Childress of Crystal Lake Il. and Lyn (Bill) Krochmalski of Eau Claire Wi. Her grandsons; Matthew and Benjamin. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She is prededed in death by her parents, husband Edward, a sister, Marcella Schleiger.
Funeral Services will be 12:00pm Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Millard Community Covenant Church in Elkhorn with Rev. Lyle Heinitz officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan on Monday August 15 at 10:00am. Memorials may be made to either Millard Community Covenant Church or the Webster House Museum in Elkhorn.
