Carolyn Sklenar, age 82 of Delavan WI, passed away on Sunday July 13, 2014 at her home in Delavan. She was born May 19,1932 in South Dakota, the daughter of Leo and Anna (Schultz) Wojcik. Carolyn was united in marriage to Julius Sklenar on April 26, 1956 in Beloit. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2013. She was Vice President of Personal Lines at Johannesen-Farrar Insurance Co. in Delavan for many years until her retirement. Carolyn was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, where she was a active member of the Bereavement Committee. She is survived by her 4 daughters; Barbara (Gary) Oates of Co., Elizabeth Sklenar of N.M., Laura (Jeff) Took of Janesville and Diane (Kevin Campbell) Sklenar of Co. 1 son, Thomas Sklenar of Ca. 8 grandchildren; Mark, Paul, Michael, Timber, Scarlet, Joseph, Abby and Kayla. 3 great-grandchildren; Olivia, Griffen and Ethan. 1 sister, Ann of Az. and 1 sister-in-law Jarlean Sklenar. Also surviving are neices and nephews. She is prededed in death by her parents, husband Julius, 8 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Friday July 18, 2014 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Delavan, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday at the church.
