DELAVAN – Danny A. Wells, age 71, of Delavan passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was born on September 2, 1953 to the late Harold Wells and the late Ruth (Schwandt) Wells. He graduated from Salem Central High School in 1971. Later he received more education from Gateway Technical College in Elkhorn. As a youth, he lived in Slades Corners. The last 14 years he lived in Delavan. While growing up he enjoyed helping his family cut grass for St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery and the church parsonage in Slades Corners. During high school he worked at Honey Bear Farm in Powers Lake. Later he worked at Break Parts in McHenry, IL. Danny enjoyed bowling, fishing, and reading geography books and maps. He also liked to see different parts of the U.S.
Danny is survived by his sister Linda L. Wells; and cousins, Donna Linneman and Jeanette Krohn. Danny is preceded in death by his father and mother; grandparents; five uncles; an aunt and a cousin.
Private Family Burial will take place at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Slades Corners.
