DELAVAN – David K. Shafer, age 66, of Delavan passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at home in Delavan. He was born on September 25, 1958 to Ronald Sr. and Elizabeth (Starin) Shafer. David was a member of Harvestpoint Church in Delavan.
David is survived by his sister, Lynn Shafer, of South Beloit, IL; a brother, Bob (Wendy) Shafer, of Delavan; nephews, John (Jennifer) Shafer, of Elkhorn and Kyle (Cassie) Shafer, of Australia; a niece, Joann Shafer, of Janesville; and cousins, Matthew Shafer, of Darien, Dick Locy, of TX, Wayne Locy, of Elkhorn, and Bonita Locy, of Elkhorn.
David is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald; and cousins, Donna Ruff, Mark Shafer, and Mitchell Shafer.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Harvestpoint Church, 209 S. 4th Street in Delavan with a luncheon to follow.
